Jessika S. Wellisch
Born in Costa Rica and raised in Ecuador, Jessika’s Jewish roots trace back to her maternal Lithuanian grandfather. She attended college in the US; immigrated soon after graduating; and moved to Washington, DC in 1997. She works as a leadership coach and facilitator who is passionate about growth, resilience, creativity, and well-being. She loves working with enterprising individuals who are ready to thrive and achieve their professional and personal goals.
Jessika holds various leadership positions in the DMV’s Jewish community including Board seats at the Edlavitch DC Jewish Community Center; the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington and most recently, the Den Collective. She has two Master’s degrees, one in Communications: Public Affairs (American University) and another in Education: Human Development with a minor in Judaic Studies (George Washington University). Her Bachelor’s degree is in Political Science from Brown University.
Jessika loves to pickleball, read, write, live healthy, travel, and doodle. She recently celebrated her 30th anniversary with her entrepreneurial husband, David, and is also the proud mother of three beautiful young adults — Talya (25), Alex (23), and Yael (20) — and an adorable furry puppy, Santi (10).
