Den Vibes is a sunset gathering of singing and spirit, concluding with havdalah. As May is Mental Health Awareness month, the Den band members have curated a thoughtful and soulful line up of Jewish teaching, discussion, and music inspired by this month’s focus on mental and holistic health. Join us as we journey together from the end of Shabbat to the week ahead. Everyone welcome.
So find a cozy spot, text some friends and/or family to join in, and we’ll see you there.
Here’s how you might set the den vibes mood from wherever you’re zooming:
Set the mood and get cozy:
Dim the lighting, or find a spot outside
Pull out some tapestries, blankets, floor pillows – have fun!
We’ll have a havdalah set – but if you have one you want to use when the time comes – bring it out (don’t have a “set” – all you need is: cup of wine, spices (cinnamon or nutmeg), and a candle)
Put out some delish snacks and drinks
Just like at our in person Den Vibes gatherings, we’re always sure to put out a fun spread of snacks and drinks to enjoy before and after havdalah. Why should this night be any different? Whether you warm up a slice of pizza or put out a bowl of your favorite ice cream, you’re invited to linger after havdalah to schmooze over some great snacks and drinks.
Text your friends
Invite friends or family to join the call – the more the merrier! Our virtual Den can hold everyone.
