Friday Night Communal Kiddush: Repro Shabbat

Gather together in community to welcome Shabbat from the comfort of your home. While we’d much rather be in person around a table together, in light of the surge in COVID cases, at this time we’re gathering via zoom on Friday evenings to connect in community, to make Kiddush (blessing over the Sabbath wine), and to take a much needed break - to breath, to reflect, and to renew. Everyone welcome.

Repro Shabbat is an opportunity to celebrate the critical importance of reproductive health access, reproductive rights, and reproductive justice with community, and to learn more about Judaism’s approach to these issues. In partnership with the National Council of Jewish Women, the Den is gathering to honor Shabbat and explore these themes. Over 500 community-based events will be taking place across the country!

We’ll have our kiddush cup for everyone to “share”. Feel free to also pour yourself a glass of something delicious, if you’d like. For those who would like to stay on for a communal zoom Shabbat dinner after 6:15pm, we will leave the zoom room open for a BYOD zoom Shabbat dinner!
