Organized by GLOE (the LBGTQ+ community at the EDCJCC) with support and sponsorship by the Den and other organizations in the DMV, this pre-Passover celebration through an LGBTQ+ lens is celebrating its 15th year! This year’s program will focus on the theme of Parting the Chaos of the World: A Moment of Peace and will feature a full Passover seder complete with a specially-commissioned Haggadah (the Jewish text containing the Passover story) retelling the traditional tale of Jewish triumphs of resistance alongside the hard-fought progress made by the LGBTQ+ equality movement over the past decade since the National Rainbow Seder's inception.
Rabbi Jenna will be leading the seder this year, along with peer-leaders from Beit Mishpachah and other organizations. Join us as we enjoy a special Passover meal, read our own Haggadah, and perform its festive rituals. The Rainbow Seder is open to everyone, LGBTQ+ and allies.
The seder will be held in person in at the EDCJCC. Sign up below by March 24th @ 4pm.
