With so much going on in our world and news cycle, many of us are seeking ways to feel connected in community. Join us the Friday night following the election, where we can unplug and reunite meaningfully, together. Shabbat provides us a with a “palace in time” to pause, count our blessings, connect with new and familiar faces, and just be.
These are tense times, and it is for this very reason why coming together like this with community is so needed. We’ll gather together to make kiddush as a community, to take a breath, and reflect on the week in this safe and sacred space we’ll build together.
To set the mood and get ready for our Shabbat gathering:
1) Feel free to pour yourself wine or grape juice for kiddush.
2) If you have challah bread or a roll, put it out on the table with a cover over it.
3) Candle lighting is at 4:43pm (Feel free to light Shabbat candles in advance if you’d like.)
4) Invite friends and family to join. There is always enough room around our virtual Shabbat table!
