May is #MentalHealthAwareness month and in this month’s Just Breathe: Wisdom + Wellness we will amplify the importance of a holistic approach to health, especially as we process the pandemic and its effects on each of us and our communities.
We begin with a teaching rooted in the mindfulness tradition from within Jewish wisdom, where we explore topics such as: navigating anxiety, cultivating balance, living with uncertainty, practicing self compassion, and discovering resources for resilience.
As we deepen our experience, we engage in a guided meditation practice that draws on concepts from the teaching; increasing our awareness to what is real and true for each of us as we navigate our world…especially during these challenging times. Meditation is more than just bringing calm and quiet to our minds, it enables us to be as awake as possible to our lives.
